That photo is stretched quite a bit horizontally. The real width is about half what's shown in the photo.

I wouldn't get this. There is no middle support for the particle board. It would sag over time if you have a lot of stuff.
I would rather get their other product that is 72x36x16 for $22

Even with supports particle board sucks. The center supports give you options for when it comes time for replacement, though. Note: every single particle board shelving unit I've ever had eventually sagged. Most with very low weight.

Yeah first thing came to my mind was why no middle support when the width is 40 inch.
I do have a shelf that's 48 width but it's thick enough that it's doing fine without middle support

Agreed. I had to go get plywood and have the HW store cut it to size. I would then stack the plywood first and the particle board second and it made for solid shelving. That's why I tried buying something like 24"x48" which means I could get 4 shelves out of an 8x4 ft sheet.
