Edit: looks like it's sold via third party now and they tack on shipping. OP said there's free shipping but I'm a best buy plus member and it still had $5 shipping. I don't know if it will still be in stock tomorrow but since there's no returns and I am not waking up my kid, guess I miss out.
It has 8 booster packs in it (6 perfect order + 2 phantasmal flames in this set), plus the promo ex, jumbo card, and a sticker. So, if you're just counting cost per pack, this kind of set will be more than a booster pack, which is just 6 packs, no promo items (like the ascended heroes you said your son got).
(My kids recently got into pokemon cards, so I've had to learn all this, so just sharing knowledge. On a side note, perfect order isn't as sought after, especially compared to ascended heroes...I'm still looking for ascended packs for my kids!)
