Better than front page Walmart 5060, $20 more. Maybe can get the rebate, almost the same price. Got the 16GB MSI last year, but not worth the money upgrade from 30x0, or 67x0.
The best price-to-performance GPU right now. Shoutout to YouTube reviews for convincing the morons that VRAM > core counts. Yeah, everyone should buy the 16 GB version for 500.
If you want more vram for less money, you need to look at used 3060 12GB models. This is essentially getting the Ti performance boost for free in the current market.

Greta price and people are losing the plot on the hate, we never had top tier performance for this price bracket. Here you're getting pretty decent 1440p performance for less than 300(considering the game price) which, in the current state of things, is actually great even at just 8gb. If you're using for gaming, the difference in raw performance for the 16gb variant is less than 2%.

It's really not that simple. When 8gbs of vram is enough they could easily be within 2% of each other or less. They are identical otherwise so you are basically talking about run to run variance and silicon lottery at that point. On the other hand when 8gbs of vram isn't enough the difference can be quite drastic.
For example RE: Requiem showing the 16gb model being 60% faster at 75fps vs 46fps for 1440p maxed out settings with RT. 46fps is playable, at least for some people for some things, but 75fps is definitely better. Not to say that you can't play RE: Requiem on the 8gb card because you can basically eliminate the difference by tweaking some settings to not run out of memory but 75fps is certainly playable on the 16gb model at those settings.
I wouldn't care about a 60% improvement if it was 10fps vs 16fps as neither is playable and it's only really interesting academically at best. The 5060ti seems to be fast enough that there are plenty of scenarios where it is substantially faster for the 16gb model vs the 8gb model and that it is at a reasonable fps that people would actually play with. That means you are having to compromise and use lower quality settings to make the 8gb model work. The other issue can be not just framerate drops but render problems where textures or other things just don't load and the game doesn't look as good but you might not even know you were having memory problems if you don't have a good comparison to look at.
Having said that I do also have a hard time paying %50 or more additional cost just for the 16gb version of the card. At times the 9060xt 8gb card got pretty cheap too and it was the same way. I hate that it's only an 8gb card but the price difference makes the compromise at least reasonable. When it's closer to a $50 difference I see no reason to not get the higher memory card. I think if it had ever been released a 12gb version of this card would have been perfect. Enough memory that you probably won't see any problems at playable framerate. The 5070 can sometimes run into issue with 12gb not being enough but it's a faster card so the 5060ti would be lower performance at those same settings anyway.
current lowest for 5060ti 16g is 420 pny, only worthwhile if you try budget 4k, which I don't recommend, or only if you want to do entry level local LLM/Stable diffusion

Double the RAM and less than double the price. It's still not a good price for either.
