I've seen several of these on SD but not quite sure how they work..
you use electricity to heat the candle instead of open flame?
Doesn't the bulb get hot?
Couldn't you put a candle up close to any lamp?
I light candles for ambiance, so having a light just isn't the same.
Overall though I think the lamp is cute and price isn't bad but just curious as to how it works .. not much explanation on the Amazon page

My wife has several of these around the house, the wax melts from the heat and dissipates, allowing for the scent to be disbersed without a flame. I don't believe it gets used up as quick compared to a regular candle.
