I bought this TV and returned it after 1 week. The colors are washed out, the contrast is non-existent and there is no option to turn off the annoying upscaling which makes everything on the screen bigger and blurrier.

You either are trolling or talking about a different TV. I have this TV, its color and contrast are perfectly fine, and check YouTube reviews if you don't believe me.

The Bravia 7 is your friend if you really want the Sony processing

The Hisense U8QG and probably even better TCL QM8K , for about the same price as the Bravia 5, IMO, are even better options

this is in store only and probably dependent on what the manager has it marked down to. Costco is getting rid of this model from stores
