Great studio overdub clean up. Huh what, it was a live concert? Page the most over rated live Guitar player........ and yes I saw him in L.A. I can honestly say that having seen Clapton, SRV, Billy Gibbons, Trower, Blackmore, Jethro Tulls Martin Barre and many more.

I just keep going back to listening to these guys on Apple Music. The talent and breadth of musical genre is unreal.
.
If it is not the tracks alone, it is that sublime alien-like record engineering that went into many of their albums.
Studio monitors or HQ headphones...pure genius. (separately, Dark Side of the Moon is a whole another level up)

Saw Zeppelin live 4 times in L.A. during their rise to fame, all the way to the end, and own the full album collections, including the most recent Jimmy Page remasters. That said, while Page was a guitar GIANT in the studio where he could do as many takes as he wanted, he was one of the sloppiest live guitarists of that era, or any other. Good to see Martin Barre on your list. Probably THE most underrated player of that era, and perfection in the studio, or live. I would have added Eddie Van Halen to the list. Probably the best technician of the bunch.

I remember watching this at the midnight movies in the early 80's. I think I have the DVD, will have to check.
