Not true at all. Different manufacturers use different component on PBC(graphics card circuit board). More premium parts can vastly increase performance. Also why some cards are justified in higher pricing. ASUS tuf series always use to have the best possible components. Not sure these days but I know they still add better components. I actually never had an Asus GPU fail prior to it lifecycle running out. Only two failures I ever had in 20+ years was a nvidia 970 (refunded because 970 issue because known on ram lies) and Radeon 5800(Failed 1 month before 2 year warranty ended and they replaced it with upgraded version of next series - can't beat that customer service).

Cards around retail they basically leave them nearly Nvidia stock board. They just throw their brand and cooling design on it.

I'm talking about actually board components. MOSFETS, Diodes, Inductors, capacitors, ect.

Most people here read maybe one article and think they know about GPUs. Or because they built a PC(plugged it in), good job Pat on back.

yea this years 9070 GRE doesnt come close to performance per dollar value like the 7900 GRE had, tbh its probably not even worth buying the 9070 GRE unless they lower it to well under $500

Two ways of thinking about it.

1.) Your logic will just let the manufacturers know they can price gouge us for basically ever.

2.) No matter how long we hold the line, the amount being spent on AI DCs make us a tiny drop in the bucket for NVidia and AMD. Things won't get better until the AI stupidity dies down.

To each their own. If you need it, buy it.

People are funny, this is one of the better 9070 models. I would stay away from XFX and other shit brands, don't even get my started on PNY... they can suck toes!

Actually I looked into this more, it's about 15-20 percent faster, so your 1-10 is way off, you sound like a team green shill.

I was going to say that also, why would we pay far more that the small amount of inflation, btw my pay didnt increase an amount equal to inflation, did yours? So they are just being extra greedy and evil.
