I ran a 1600 watt hair dryer for like 20 minutes just fine. I assume a washing machine is much less.
The Delta 3 Plus can do 1800W. Inrush current on an old washer might be higher than that. Anything with a large electric motor can have a huge startup requirement.

I'm thinking about buying another. We bought two for two households in April of this year. While I would prefer one of these units to work ONLY on the local network, not require cloud connectivity, I'm not sure that there are any all-in-one units that do so. They can work without internet, but no settings can be configured via the phone app without the Gendome application and cloud connection. There is no local web interface to access via LAN.

I've fed 6x200W solar panels into it as 3S2P without problem. I've been busy and haven't tested power switchover success for my PC, but that's the plan for the one I currently own.

This was crowd-funded in 2023 via this campaign: [url]https://www.indiegogo.com/en/projects/gendome/gendome-home-3000-the-smart-portable-power-station[/url

There were no tax charges for me from wellbots.

Edit: I just purchased another unit. I haven't found any better deals in the last couple months since buying the first two. I can't figure out how to apply the wellbots points though..."You have 2084 Wellbots Points"

any way to connect it directly to the house in case of an power outage the battery jumps in to cover it ?

i lik eto be prepared for hurricane season and finally get rid of gas generator

Pretty much makes this a non-starter. What happens when the power goes out and you need to change a setting and there's no internet? Companies that do this will never get my money.

Wow, what an oversight, not even bluetooth controls?
You know, I'm not sure. Manual suggests that there's local bluetooth control. I didn't see that in the app, but I could be wrong about that part. There's no local web service, but if I see a way to connect via Bluetooth, that'd be a huge positive IMO.

I'll look in a few minutes, or rather, it would be nice to see the app on a device that hasn't installed it before. Let me lug it upstairs to mess with it - it's a heavy-ish beast without any good way to carry it up the staircase solo.

Edit: Here's what the offline-connectivity issue is:

When you open the app, it requires web login or account creation. There is no offline mode, even with my phone's internet connection disabled. I have a prompt for user/pass, a checkbox for agreement to the EULA, a sign in button, a forgot password link, a register link, and "other" logins for Facebook or Google. Clicking any of these does nothing when I have no internet connection.

After I have internet access and login, then there is a bluetooth local-access option.

You can do anything you want, but you'll be wiring it up yourself. Ideally on a smaller subpanel with transfer switch. It's no different than what you may do with a 120V generator.

If you are able to answer or try, I really want to know if this is able to run a washing machine. I'm not sure what the power surge is when the washing cycle starts but my current EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus is not able to run it. Knowing if it could run a gas dryer (not simultaneously, of course) would also be super helpful. Hoping the 3000W AC output is enough. Appreciate it!
I don't see why not, but that's a case-by-case basis. Even if mine powers up fine with whatever surge current it has, that doesn't mean that your washing machine also works. Have you tried the washing machine without any clothes in it, to see if it still goes into over-protection? That may tell you how close you are on the line of the unit faulting with an over-current error. I'd think your Ecoflow would work fine though - a washing machine shouldn't surge more than 1800 Watts...

My washing machine is a 10-year-old Whirlpool-branded unit using the common front-loader design by whirlpool, maytag, kenmore, duet, etc, but I've fully disassembled and serviced both the washer and dryer within the last year, and the washer should have a relatively low surge current having done so.

Woe seems like a great price is this legit?
Legit. I bought this last time it was listed as a deal. The build seems very good quality. Overkill i know, but i am currently using it as a UPS for my modem and mesh router. The power at our house has already gone out a few times and the app and LED display told me that it could power the modem and router for over two days on one charge (as opposed to 10-15 minutes on any of my other rinky dink APC UPS's). I personally recommend it but this is also my first LiFePo4 unit and can't compare it to anything else.

I have reverse-engineered the Bluetooth communication encryption they use, along with the command structure so they can be used offline. I've got working code as well, it just needs to be polished for a clean integration with Home Assistant. I've got six of these units myself and they're solid performers. I didn't know if anyone would be interested in having the ability to integrate them into Home Assistant, so I'm happy to read there's a demand for it.

Can this be chained together to increase capacity? Nothing on wellbots listing says it can be done.
Gendome never released the official connection cable, nor an add-on battery, nor any firmware updates to allow for usage of the expansion ports. The battery expansion ports use a standard Chinese connector type you can order on AliExpress. However, without any firmware update to unlock the feature, and no add-on battery to connect to the device, the ports are useless.

Bluetooth controls only work when the unit has no connection to the cloud. Once you bind the device to your account, and therefore the Gendome AWS-based cloud, Bluetooth commands will only work from the native Gendome app in one of two circumstances:1. You physically remove the device out of the range of your home WiFi. 2. You block or route the traffic so it can't reach Gendome's AWS endpoint. I discovered the above while reverse engineering the Bluetooth commands so the device can both be controlled offline, regardless of whether it is bound to an account, and so it can be integrated with Home Assistant.
