I bought these boots 5 years ago. They are certainly worth at least 13 bucks.

Will these work as snow shoes? I'm thinking about cutting the toes for extra size but then the issue with the snow..... the dilemma .

Are the bottom soles on yours as stiff as concrete? Mine are and they are uncomfortable to walk on. They also make "tug... tug... tug..." sound when walk indoor on hard floor. I tried bending them up and down, they softened a bit then hardened like concrete again the next day.

These are great for the price. I took a chance at full price on these at $25!!

These are great for working around the yard. Shoveling snow.

Can't comment on actual hiking.

It's my size, I'll give it a shot, even though I have hiking shoes already.

I purchased a parodies approximately 2 years ago. Make sure you get inserts the bottom is really hard. Also I was using them to walk in them approximately 2 to 5 mi a day The soul began to separate from the shoe in approximately 4 months. I took him back in Costco did replace them for another pair the second pair lasted approximately the same amount of time. So if you will be using it once in a blue moon these will last a while if you actually walking them be prepared that they're going to get worn out quick

I always use sole inserts. The soles are stiff, but I thought that they were decent for hiking. They have graduated from hiking boots to working in the yard.
