Most solar panels on AliExpress advertise 100W and they're the size of a piece of paper. These are big enough to actually be 200W.
I've only ever reached the rated power on panels at high noon on a bright and sunny day pointed straight at the sun when it's below freezing. Portable panels are usually worse than rigid panels. Par for the course.

Are renogy panels no good nowadays? Last year I got a 220w one from them for around $150 and that was a front page deal. Oh how times have changed.
Not sure what model you got but i got this one from aliexpress last year as well. In a past post someone mentioned it as well and explicitly note the usb port model.

What panels do you recommend if you are saying these are no good?

I dont have a recommendation, im just telling people dont expect anywhere close to 200w. Personally i never expected to get a full 200w but i didnt expect a loss of about 40 to 50%.

Did the panels degrade quickly in a short period or something?

I just looked back and it was the 220w suitcase style one. So I think those in general are a bit more expensive

In my experience Renogy is usually pretty good. The worst I ever tested in a side-by-side test was Ecoworthy. Rigid panels are usually better, but Ecoworthy rigid panels were getting just under 50% rated power on a day/time/angle that Renogy flexible panels were getting 75% and some no-name flexible panels that came with something were getting 80%.

Would you say these are best bang for the buck then? I see there is a 400w renogy too
