Honestly, DVD burners are 25 years old now so there's nothing advanced about this tech. There's no reason it should cost anymore than this. I am surprised it's not just USB-C. I'm hoping that you can just use either/or and don't have to use both. I have a drive that's about 8 years old that you have to have both USB ports plugged in. It's getting harder and harder to use with current technology.
