I have a laptop to do laptop things. Why would I want a MacBook Air when I already have a fully capable 14" gaming laptop? In other words... to each their own, your use case might not be the same as someone else's.

iPad is crap without macOS. It's a glorified iPhone with power that will never be used.

I tried holding a 13-inch iPad Pro, and as an average height person, it felt incredibly large. You have to back it up to have normal viewing distances. In my opinion, the 13-inch iPad is only suitable for tall individuals with long arms or those who genuinely need it as a laptop replacement.

I use a 12.9 model. You get used to it and start to appreciate it. I thought they were huge too when I first saw them in person

Agreed, which is why I returned mine. For heaven's sake, icons littering the entire screen. How do people stand it? Fantastic display but when I first got it going I should have known when it didn't ask for my Time Machine backup to import my apps and data.
