You cannot order them together. You must first, order and get the phone, then activate it.

Then you can order a 2nd phione, or a tablet, or a watch on a promotion.

That is their intention, at least. YMMV. I've sometimes not been able to get more than one line, sometimes multiple tablets and 2 phones. Lately, they really seem more strict.

Damn good deal, especially with how Samsung trade-in promos generally work. I have a 7 LTE model and love it for sports tracking and helping me actually notice when my phone is ringing.

Note that according to the Metro terms, this is locked to Metro until you hit 365 days of paid service. That said, some people on reddit say theirs appear to be factory unlocked, though I haven't found anyone who confirmed whether or not it would take another carrier's eSim. You can always use it without service after the first month, as it doesn't drop any features from the Bluetooth model.
I got one the last time this deal was around. We were never able to activate it with Metro (because their support people are incompetent turds), so I ended up activating it on a standalone AT&T plan instead, and my kid has been using it that way since February.
Edit: I think ours is blacklisted from T-Mobile because of the activation issues, but it does seem to have been factory unlocked. Didn't try it on Verizon.

If I have added the the phone line service the the tablet line since last month mid-month, can I order the watch and add the watch line and then cancel the phone and tablet line before the next cycle and still keep the watch line and watch line active? Does anyone try that?

Do I need to be a customer for more than a month or can I sign up for phone service now and get the watch immediately?

No need to be a customer for more than a month. You can order one device at a time and order the next one after the first device is activated. At least that's how it worked for me. This is my 4th device. Two phones, one tablet and one watch.

For those who aren't already customers, do you activate the phone line first and then buy the watch? It looks like the phone line is $30 plus $40 for the watch and line, making the total $70 before taxes.

No, ordered it two weeks after the Stylus

It allowed me to add the watch to the cart after I activated the tablet, but now they just canceled the order because they couldn't verify my details.

Edit: I was able to place an order from my phone, not on my Wifi, not using Capital1 shopping app.

I got this watch in December 2025 but wasn't able to activated it on Helium Mobile. Another person at the time wasn't able to use Tello on it either. We thought it was locked for 365 days. Based on the comments in this thread of people using it on Visible or AT&T, I just tried activating my Watch 7 on US Mobile Dark Star (AT&T) plan and got it working. Support did have to check something on their backend before it worked. I also tried switching to the US Mobile Light Speed (T-Mobile) option but that didn't work. My guess is T-Mobile is blacklisting the IMEI for all their MVNOs except Metro Mobile.

I bought the US Mobile Light plan for $60 first year ($5/month) with 2GB data/month and unlimited talk & text. Since I ported from Helium Mobile, I was able to use this offer: https://www.usmobile.com/helium-m...lternative. Reddit thread if your interested in this plan https://www.reddit.com/r/USMobile...us_mobile/ I'm not sure if they will enforce the port in requirement.

Note that for US Mobile, the Samsung watch is not supported in companion mode yet, but works on standalone mode on Dark Star or Light Speed (if not blacklisted by Metro/T-Mobile).

I bought an unlocked one directly from Samsung for my kid, but I haven't been able to activate it on either AT&T or Verizon. After multiple supervisor escalations, their top tier tech support told that only Apple Watches can be used on standalone plans, and that ALL Android watches are strictly limited to paired/shared plans.
Since you got it working, I would love to learn the trick or the specific steps you took to bypass this restriction. TIA

Could you please share how you got this watch work as a standalone mode on Dark Star? Did you get the watch line or the normal phone line? I'm hoping to get this working for my kid and would really appreciate any tips or instructions you can share. Thanks so much!!!!!!

Below are the steps that AI generated from my notes. Also see this Reddit thread about using it Kids mode if you're interested. https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyWa..._watch_in/

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are the modified, step-by-step instructions to set up a standalone **US Mobile Dark Star (AT&T)** plan on a **Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE**.

---

## Step 1: Purchase the US Mobile Standalone Plan

Do not use the standard Apple or Pixel Watch companion plans offered in the dashboard; this setup requires a full standalone line.

* Go to the [US Mobile Helium Alternative Page](https://www.usmobile.com/helium-m...lternative) or the standard [US Mobile Light Plan Checkout](https://app.usmobile.com/dashboar...ategory=DB).
* Select the **Light Plan** (which includes 2 GB of data, plus unlimited talk and text).
* **Promo Code Tip:** If checking out via the Helium alternative link, enter the promo code **HELIUM5** to drop the annual cost down to $60 for the first year (normally $8/month or $96/year).
* Choose **eSIM** as your delivery method and explicitly select the **Dark Star (AT&T)** network.
* Complete the checkout process. Once the line is ready for activation, US Mobile will generate an **eSIM Activation QR Code** in your dashboard. Keep this QR code open on a computer screen or another device.

---

## Step 2: Access the Hidden Developer Menu on the Phone

The Galaxy Wearable app can be installed from the Google Play Store on any compatible Android phone to facilitate this process.

1. Open the **Galaxy Wearable** app on the phone.
2. Tap the **"3-stripe" (hamburger) menu** icon in the upper-left corner.
3. Tap the **Gear icon (Settings)** on the right side of that slide-out menu.
4. Scroll down and tap **"About Galaxy Wearable"**.
5. Tap quickly **5 times** directly on the large title heading that says **"Galaxy Wearable"**.
6. A hidden developer options list will appear. Tap on **"Test ESIM Feature"**.
7. Look for **"Current QR TestMode"** and toggle it to **ON**.

---

## Step 3: Scan the US Mobile QR Code

1. Go back to the main screen of the Galaxy Wearable app.
2. Tap **Watch settings**.
3. Select **Mobile plans**.
4. Tap **Use code**. This will open the phone's camera interface.
5. Scan the **US Mobile Dark Star eSIM QR code** you generated in Step 1.

---

## Step 4: Enable the Network Plan on the Watch

1. On your Galaxy Watch 7, swipe down and open **Settings** (the gear icon).
2. Tap **Connections**, then select **Mobile networks**.
3. Ensure that the setting is toggled to **"Auto"** or **"Always on"**.
4. Scroll down to **Mobile plans**.
5. Locate the newly added US Mobile network profile and toggle it to **ON**.

---

**Important Troubleshooting Note:** Because you are activating a standard voice/data phone plan on a wearable hardware device, the profile may not handshake perfectly right out of the gate. If you get no service after completing these steps, open a live chat with **US Mobile Support**. Inform them that you are setting up a standalone eSIM on a watch framework and ask them to verify the device mapping/provisioning on their backend to push the activation through.
