I see in the header it says Japanese "style" but in the description says Japanese Hand Saw. Do we know if is actually Japanese metal?
Sorry, now I see in the Amazon description that it is made in Japan.

I bought a cheap one of these and it bent pretty easy.. I dont think I was working it very hard. It did cut nicely up until then.

From Q&A: The SS SHOVAN Japanese Hand Saw uses Japanese-style sawtooth technology — the teeth are processed by a high-frequency quenching machine imported from Japan — but the saw itself is manufactured in China, not Japan. A few customer reviews also note this.
