The Clifton 10 is a soft, cushioned HOKA built for walking, easy runs, and all day standing, with a feel that sits below the Bondi in plushness but still stays comfortable. The cushioning is described as soft without being overly squishy, and the wider base and tread suit uneven ground better than pavement. Fit leans toward wide sizing for some feet, while the arch support feels weaker than the Clifton 9. Durability is the main concern, with reports of quick wear, outsole loss, and a promo code that may not work at checkout.
Common Questions (5)
A wide size can be the safer choice even if you have never bought wide before, and the Clifton 10's fit has worked better for some people in wide. One size note from the thread is that size 8 XW was only available in black.
The Bondi has more cushioning, while the Clifton is the next-softest HOKA after the Bondi. The Clifton 10 still feels soft and comfortable for walking or running, but it is not as cushioned as the Bondi.
Durability is reported around 3 months with about 10,000 steps per day, or about 6 months with active daily use. Another report says the outsole can wear down enough that only foam is left.
No, the Clifton 10 is reported to have less arch support than the Clifton 9. Several comments specifically say the 10s feel lacking in arch support compared with the 9s.
The promo code appears to be excluded for HOKA and may fail at checkout. The advertised price may not be reachable because the code is reported as invalid on this product.
