It's device specific. Most iPhones charge at 30W and above. Believe 17 charges at 40W, 17 Pro at 45W. Android phones are at that level and higher. What device is limited to 20W, a cell phone from 10 years ago?

That's the point. Why use a charger that is half your charging limit and will still be considered "fast charging" by your battery? Might as well get max speed and charge. Plus who uses a $4 charging brick to charge a $800-1300 cell phone. Belkin 30W go for $15-20 day and night, Apple's own 45W charger (which is the best on the market outside of Google's recently released charger) was chronically at $30. No point in cheaping out and being forced to wait longer while the phone charges (most people i know charge at night and only top off using fast charge during the day). Others will chime in and say "just wait." Time is money and i dont have time

Upto iPhone 16 (base variant) were still at 23-24W (not the Pros). It was in base 17 they changed
