This onn 20W USB C wall charger is a tiny, cheap backup brick that works well for basic USB C charging and even powered an eero router after the original adapter failed. The low price is the main draw, and the smaller kit version adds a 3 foot USB IF certified USB C cable for just a bit more. The USB C port is capped at 20 watts, with USB A limited to 12 watts, so it is not ideal for phones that can pull more power. The single USB C port also feels limiting for a charger meant to stay simple and inexpensive.
Phone chargers wanting a tiny single-port brick for overnight top-offs, because the 20W output is enough for slower charging while you sleep.
Yes, it can fast charge, but the USB-C output is limited to 20W. That is enough for many phones, though some newer iPhones and Androids can charge faster than 20W, so it may not hit a device's maximum speed.
It will charge modern phones, but it caps at 20W on USB-C, so it can be slower than the maximum supported by newer models. Base iPhones up to the iPhone 16 were noted around 23-24W, while newer devices and many Android phones can go higher.
Spending $1 more gets the same 20W charger plus a 3ft USB-IF certified USB-C cable. If you want a smaller charger than the 32W dual-port alternative, the kit adds useful value without changing the 20W power limit.
Yes, it can power an eero router and was used successfully after the original power brick broke. It is a practical replacement when the router's power needs fit within the charger's 20W USB-C output.
Just keep in mind the usb-c is still limited to 20 watts
It's device specific. Most iPhones charge at 30W and above. Believe 17 charges at 40W, 17 Pro at 45W. Android phones are at that level and higher. What device is limited to 20W, a cell phone from 10 years ago?

The charged linked is limited to 20w on the Usb-c port, 20w on usb-c and 12 on usb-a

That's the point. Why use a charger that is half your charging limit and will still be considered "fast charging" by your battery? Might as well get max speed and charge. Plus who uses a $4 charging brick to charge a $800-1300 cell phone. Belkin 30W go for $15-20 day and night, Apple's own 45W charger (which is the best on the market outside of Google's recently released charger) was chronically at $30. No point in cheaping out and being forced to wait longer while the phone charges (most people i know charge at night and only top off using fast charge during the day). Others will chime in and say "just wait." Time is money and i dont have time

Upto iPhone 16 (base variant) were still at 23-24W (not the Pros). It was in base 17 they changed
