This onn 20W USB C wall charger is a tiny, cheap backup brick that works well for basic USB C charging and even powered an eero router after the original adapter failed. The low price is the main draw, and the smaller kit version adds a 3 foot USB IF certified USB C cable for just a bit more. The USB C port is capped at 20 watts, with USB A limited to 12 watts, so it is not ideal for phones that can pull more power. The single USB C port also feels limiting for a charger meant to stay simple and inexpensive.
The charger can power an eero router after a power brick breaks, and it works well for that use case.
The 20W charger kit can include a 3ft USB-IF certified USB-C cable for a small price increase.
The USB-C output is limited to 20W, which can still be sufficient for devices that do not require higher wattage charging.
The USB-C output is limited to 20W, which can cap charging speed for phones that support higher watt fast charging.
The charger may not deliver the full 20W advertised power, with reports suggesting it may provide closer to 15W.
The charger's single USB-C port can be limiting when charging multiple devices or when a dual-port setup is preferred.
Using "fast charge" overnight may raise safety concerns about potential issues during regular overnight charging.
