Was at HD to get the Rigid outdoor 5 outlet clearance deal and found this right next to it. 6 outlets on the angled sides, 2 USB A and 1 USB C on top. Plus a night light with adjustable brightness. Link is for reference but if it's available, it will say in stock, not eligible for online order pickup, see low price by clicking the link. My store was $5.80.

Edit: I've installed it. A few things you should know. The nightlight aims down to illuminate the floor. It has two brightness settings, both which are pretty dim, is roughly 5000k temp, and can be turned off. Second thing is that this is designed to be used without an outlet cover. There is a screw on the back that is supposed to go into the outlet cover screw receptacle. To access the screw front, there is a small rubber plug on the front of the surge protector that you can pop out with a thumbnail. You need a Philips 1 for it.

Weird, you don't see $5.80 in the post/title? I do, at least on the app. But I'll update. Thanks for the heads up.

Can you order online at a higher price, and get a price adjustment when picking up?

No, I have tried before and they will tell you clearance prices are for in-stock items only. I even tried to return and rebuy it and they said it wouldn't be shelved because it is on clearance, it has to be returned to HD

I got this and now understand why it is on clearance. First, its useless as a nightlight, as it is too dim. Second, the instructions are worse than worthless and will simply make you return it. It simply says to plug it in, and it wont plug in because there is a screw in the way. You need to pry the rubber plug in front off to access the screw. Then you remove the screw on the outlet plate but leave the outlet plate on the outlet, place this over the outlet plate, plug into the outlet a little bit and screw from the front to secure this to the outlet. Its really an ugly outlet extender/ usb power supply. It doesnt belong on the floor outlets, so I put one on the kitchen island to allow people to charge their phones.

Honestly, I would get a faceplate with USB outlets which go for $10-12 and look a lot better. This provides 6 outlets, from one socket, so if that gets rid of a power strip, then maybe this is for you.

FWIW, my OP was updated to include the info about the screw. Because you're right -- the instructions are worthless.

Also, I think the "nightlight" feature is really so that you can find your phone if you have it charging in the kitchen, like you said you're doing. It's certainly not like a real nightlight (which I actually appreciate). I get the feeling the marketing department didn't know what to do after the engineers decided to stick it in.

This is just one of many examples:
https://www.amazon.com/POWAWINI-O...=8-12&th=1

Home depot sells leviton for about $20.

These are outlets. I also have seen faceplates, but cant recall where.
