Starlight Foundation is who the money is going to. It's a foundation that works with children that are ill and does fun stuff for them. How is it a waste of time checking that? I wasn't that crazy about any one game, but I decided to go ahead and get them and donate as well. Some of those Humble Bundles go to organizations that are way out there. One time is was one of Soros's foundations. I think he has enough money already, he can fund his own foundation, and I'll give my money to the kids.

I always watch to make sure that the bundle I'm buying supports an organization that I'm ok with. Starlight looks like a good one.

Great deal, pairs nicely with the Logitech steering wheel setup that was a slickdeal last week. Graphics are good, worth the humble bundle price and then some.

When it goes on sale, it can be had for around the $8 mark. So, for an extra $2, you get the rest of the games in the bundle, if you want to think of it that way.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit is really great, I picked this up just for that game. Basically it's like a modern Sega Saturn arcade racing game with great music and really nice drift controls. I recommend it!

art of rally is a delightful lowkey driving game, with minimalist but artful visuals and a top-down viewpoint. It's a perfect 'flow state' kind of game to get into a groove and just enjoy a smooth drive with carefully apexed corners and gentle throttle. Pared down and avoids Just More Stuff without reason.

I think his comment was about the stock split of funds for the deal, the majority goes to humble bundle and the developers while minimal amount goes to the charity unless you manual adjust the sliders that are conveniently hidden on the site.

Here is the default split and the minimum amount that can go to humble is 1.50 while you can zero out the other two.

  • $6.50 to Publishers
  • $0.50 to Starlight Foundation
  • $3 to Humble
