I like a Jersey Mike's but the zillion options at Subway are a win too.

I never tried on the website, but I had an issue with the gift card on the phone app.When you get down to a low amount, you can't apply like the small amount that's left on the gift card with another payment form. And reloading that gift card is not an easy task, because I believe you have to go outside of the Phone app. If anyone knows an easier way to reload that gift card, I'd love to know.

What's the purpose or advantage of using a gift card instead of normal payment?

Not that I really care THAT much about the business, I just want the sub to be at a fair price according to the wage in the area (others have their thresholds).

If the minimum wage is $15/hr. where one is at, the best one can do is buy a footlong close to what, proportionally, it should be. If in 1965, a footlong was $0.49 on $1.15/hr.; a footlong today should not be any more than $6.34 on $15/hr. That is not actually unrealistic. BOGO footlongs for ones at or under $12.68 would do it. Veggie subs in my area, even though $7.25/hr. where I am at, run about $8.99. The issue is, one has to be very picky in what is bought.

And it also hurts the contributors on here too because tons of people are like, "The codes do not work." Well of course they do not work or of course, the Subway in your area is not going to honor it. They never were SUPPOSED TO!!! These were localized regional codes, which had taken the franchises' profit margins in that area into account, even if they were sent by corporate.

trolling or lack of understanding of basic economics.

I know a lot of folks are saying it didnt work for them but for me FL1299 definitely worked it was just restricted to specific sandwiches. 7$ out the door for a sub isnt terrible in this economy its about as good as it gets for eating out unless you're in the mood for a mcchicken lol

YMMV even from the same selected location:
If I order from computer, then only FL1399 works and will not allow Gift Card as a payment method. However, if I use the phone app, then FL1299 works and also allows Gift Card.
