I would like to get a wider mower like this, but my yard has lots of landscaping with lots of curves that the mower has to follow. Is this a lot more difficult to maneuver than a regular 21 inch mower?

it is wider but it is self propelled so it is not bad but maybe you better stay with a 22 inch one .

this cuts the time down since it is wider...

It's bigger and heavier but pretty easy to maneuver. It's a great mower.
