I collected these at $6-7 from Gamestop, can't remember, and thought it was a great deal. They were incredibly overpriced at $40 but are really good quality and nice. Great deal at this price.

You're right, and once these things got hit by tariffs in addition to already inflated pricing, plus being niche to begin with..... they were effectively cooked.
