For this price, shipped to your house, it's a good deal for basically any bike wheel.

If you've got a bike co-op in your town you're likely to get a higher quality wheel for a similar price, even a used double wall rim is superior. At our shop we put anything with a single wall rim directly into the metal recycling bin, we have too many good wheels to use up space with single wall rims.

Also, these are cup and cone hubs. That isn't a problem, plenty of quality cup and cone hubs have been made, but these are so cheap that you can be assured that they're poorly adjusted and should be opened, greased, and the cones properly adjusted.

The only reason you should buy these is that you need a wheel for a bike that's missing one, or the one you have is completely unusable. I wouldn't even call them acceptable as spares or backups.

Thanks. Ordered this wheelset, some cheap pedals, tubes, and a $10 spare rear wheel for my daily commuter.

To each their own. I'm going to put this on the smallest 29er I can buy for my 10 year old. I think single wall will work just fine. At this price, you can resell for on marketplace in 2 years and get your money back.

For the price, I grabbed a front for my RadMission to put a stock tube/tire on as a hot swap.

rail 7 is a 12-speed though so i guess not?

These are mountain wheels, 34T and above Shimano 11s cassettes will fit on 10 speed freehub bodies as the largest cog is dished slightly

Uncommon size wheels but if you use this size this price is a steal.
Unless you go business in the front and party in the back that is.
