Might be because they don't want you to read the label. First ingredient is natural Flavors which is unknown chemicals. None of the flavors have the actual flavor in it, its chemicals making it taste like what its labeled.
None of these flavors have any of these ingredients in them. Raspberry Lemonade, Cherry Pomegranate, Lemon Lime, and Passion Fruit
Ingredients
Electrolytes. Natural flavors. citric acid. calcium silicate. steviol glycoside (as rebaudioside M). fruit and vegetable juice (color). CONTAINS: Tree nuts (coconut).
Here are a few that are much better, more expensive

There are various medical reasons as well as lifestyle reasons.
People who sweat a lot, people with certain issues like POTS/EDS.

Who needs extra sodium unless they're doing keto? Most diets have so much sodium in the food already

Liquid IV is pretty bad, just a good name and marketing. These are better since they aren't loaded with cane sugar. Better options available for both.

Ingredients
Cane Sugar, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Salt, Potassium Citrate, Sodium Citrate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Stevia Leaf Extract (Rebaudioside a), Silicon Dioxide, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Natural Flavors, Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), Vitamin B5 (Calcium D-Pantothenate), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride), Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin).
