Hold the line boys, the 9070xt may be $599-629 on prime day. I heard from a distributor that the 5080 may hit 1000-1100 with limited stock. The super series has been brought back so the 5060ti 16gig 5070ti, and the 5080s are going to be blown out and value lowered.

I have seen speculation the super series has been brought back, but nothing officially from Nvidia. I could see them offering official information after Prime day to drive more repeat sales.

The Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070 XT is a better card than this, and at a cheaper price currently.

Horrible take. The Supers are not adding performance. Just more memory and more power draw. A year after you buy it, you'll be out of date due to the 6000 series.

Speaking of horrible takes. Wait 5 years and you can buy a 9090XYZABC which will be unlimited % faster than today's card and give you a handy while you game.

For the actual, current market this is a pretty good deal. If the super series comes back to force prices down, that changes. If not...then not. I'm off to check my crystal ball.

And XFX they are also cheap crap, I've had a few of them have an issue where they just stop running and it won't allow AMD drivers to install anymore.

I doubt gpu prices will ever come down, focus is shifting to the AI data center mega corporations. After the robots and AI's take all the jobs you will no longer be there consumer. This may very well be the end of the pc golden age, but fear not the corporate overlords will sell you a streaming gaming service with very little monthly play time at an insane price, if you can some how compete with mindless machines that never need to take a break, sleep and still never miss a day.
