Have had this vacuum for years through multiple apartments and homes. My wife takes it to school to use in her classroom, I use it nearly every day to vacuum pet hair and kids crumbs from our hardwood floors with random rugs around. Absolutely love it but there are some issues like with any product. First the battery life never really seems like it's degraded even though it's been used and charged nearly every day. However the battery life is only good for probably about 1500sqft at a time before it needs charging. Great for a quick daily picker upper. Second thing is this thing sits low low low. Some of the boards on our floor have warped from a slab leak. The vacuum will reliably hook on edges of the warped floor and damage the boards (beyond their damaged state now). It also has issues transitioning from floor to carpet because of how low it rides. Third issue is the main head. You cannot easily clean that shit at all. It requires a security head and even if you believe you're handy enough to take it apart I would STRONGLY suggest against it unless you have a lot of experience thinking critically about where tiny springs and pressed together gears should go. The way I clean it is I lightly wet a thin dishrag and manually roll the rollers to "wipe" the inside of the vacuum head. It gets disgusting in there and I do this maybe once every 6 months.

Given how dirty the head and interior pieces go, I'm not sure I would buy a refurbished piece. I bought a "Shark Refurbished" robot vacuum a few years ago and that arrived insanely dirty and with a broken piece. Although the Stratos has been incredible durable for me, I'm not sure I believe I'd be receiving a "clean" item... $150 is an insane value though. I believe I paid nearly $400 for it and truly believe it's worth that value.
