Does not fit '06 4Runner with 1GR-FE. That part number is the PL10241. Verified on their own website.

So just a little FYI..

This filter will fit a 2000 Mustang with the V6 engine.
Now you are probably asking yourself... Why are you telling us this?

The answer is... The filter that fits this Mustang ALSO happens to fit the Husqvarna YTH20k46 riding lawn mower.
That is the 20HP Kohler engine. I do not know if it will fit other Kohler size engines...but I am sure that somebody can do a cross check if interested.

How do I know this?
Because I once had that Mustang, still have the mower...and clearly am too curious for my own good.

And for anybody concerned about using a car filter in a lawnmower. If it can hold up to the demands of a car, it is going to be able to handle anything your mower can throw at it.

This also fits on MK3 ford focuses. It's the same thread and diameter just a bit taller.

I bought 10 of these a month ago for my 2015 focus. It also now takes a full 5 quarts with this on it which is nice. More oil and a better filter.

Some filters are the same width and thread size just taller or shorter than what your car might have. Like this one fits my 2015 Ford Focus. It's just a bit taller so it actually makes the focus take a full 5 quarts instead of 4.8. I get a great filter, more filter, and more oil when using it.

There might be something like that with the cheap ones that works with your car. I wouldn't go smaller but taller might work depending on where your filter is

Was just going to mention this as I've been using this on my Kohler 18hp. Much more filter area than the original.

Only rated to 40 microns, bearings care most about the 20 micron range. Get a better filter.

Is there a way to find which filters fit a car but have different capacity? All the online tools only show the "exact" fit model making it hard to figure out this info.

I learnt this accidentally when I installed the filter for my Odyssey into the Altima a few years ago that they have the exact same threading but different capacity.. but finding this information has been....well, hard!

These filters have a bypass valve so when the engine is running at higher RPMs , and pumping more oil, the filter is in bypass mode.

Irrelevant to the filter's capabilities when not in bypass.
