Similar to the sold out front page Redragon MPC745 deal the other day, but faster and cheaper. 7940HS about 3% to 5% faster than 8845HS in Redragon depending on task.

There is a choice here of either the AriesBox10 with the 7840HS (slightly slower by 5%) or the AriesBox20 with the 7940HS. Basically the cost difference in options shown for the CPU is $25. Also there is a choice between the 512GB SSD and a 1TB SSD. The cost difference is $40 between the drive choices. So you can get the cheapest configuration for $288 or the most expensive configuration at $351.

Last note for all these Aliexpress deals. The prices fluctuate by a couple bucks all the time due to currency value changes and a few other small adjustments. There may be a +/- 2 dollar spread when checking any of these deals.

This is a compact Zen 4 mini PC with an RDNA 3 780M iGPU, aimed at home, office, and light gaming. The hardware generally matches the listing, with 16GB DDR5 in a single SODIMM slot, an open memory slot for easy expansion, and an open NVMe bay. Performance and storage speed look solid, and adding a second RAM stick can improve results. The main caveats are the shaky Windows activation story, occasional setup hassles, and repeated fulfillment concerns, including wrong CPU variants, missing product keys, and even order cancellations.

1. Hold Alt-Tab to see if the create PIN tab is actually there, just hidden
2. Make it the focus tab by letting go of Alt-Tab onto the Create PIN tab.
3. The window is focused on but still hidden, so you'll have to fill it in without seeing it. You basically type in your desired PIN, press tab (to go to the next textbox) re-type your PIN and finally press ENTER to submit.
This is how I got around it without doing a clean install.
I still have the issue of no activation key for my Windows 11 but just living with it for now.
