I've had one for 2 years now and it's still running fine. I bought at 130 then also from costco and did so for peace of mind with costco warranty.

my use case is bathroom dehumidifying during showers bc theres no exhaust fan. this is very high humidity removal for like 20min a day vs what i will be purchasing a new unit for my basement likely running 24/7 until dead winter.

Pretty sure it's not suppose to stop until it gets to 55% if you set it at 60%... there's a buffer.

It's pretty good. It's better than buying from amazon. I had a few that close to 5 stars from amazon but no one survived for more than a season.

I've had mine for a couple years. Use it daily for the bathroom as my shower fan kinda sucks. I had a Hisense dehumidifier that I used only once in a while and it broke after a couple years. Luckily that one was also from costco so I was able to return (credit card company kept asking me for a quote for the repair but no shop in my area said they repaired portable dehumidifiers so they basically gave me the run around instead of my extended warranty).

I have two for 2+ years. They're great. Keep the filter clean and waste the water. Maintain it and it'll run efficiently.

If you do buy one of these, check for a burning plastic / armpit-like odor from the fan. I purchased one of these from costco and ended up returning it after running it for 48 hours straight. The smell never went away.

I purchased this unit from Costco about a year ago, and the sensor has consistently malfunctioned. I set it to 60%, but the machine refused to stop even when the humidity dropped below that level. The only way to turn it off is to power it down completely. Despite this issue, I find the machine effective at removing humidity, and I keep mine in the living room. However, the noise it produces is quite loud.

I agree with this. The main issue is definitely noise. I had a whirlpool model from Costco before they said I used for probably about 7 years. Whisper quiet. The only reason I got rid of it was because of the recall. I've gone through two summers with this model, and while it is noisy, it is very effective.

Works great when it works somewhat white noise not to loud but when it goes out it goes out loud and annoying mine went 5 days before warranty was up.. midea is pretty good when in warranty if costco gives you hard time they just refund you for the total

I have this, had it for 1 year. Last season was beast mode and worked well through Long Island humidity. Humidity sense seems sensitive and is more conservative. Pump system is awesome and I bought extended pipe. Highly recommend, I am getting some noise issues though which someone indicated could mean it's failing.

Pretty sure it's not suppose to stop until it gets to 55% if you set it at 60%... there's a buffer.

I got this in 2024. The pump in mine lasted two seasons (about 8 months of use). I attempted to repair it, even reached out to the manufacture and they said "just return it, we can't help you troubleshoot." I just returned mine at Costco and got the Hisen. It's a lot quieter and I like the pump function in it a lot more than the Midea.
