A bit of a devil's advocate regarding this driver... This screwdriver is the same size as most drivers in the M12 line (drills/impacts/etc). For single-function use (low-speed 1/4"-bit driver), I feel it would be a much more valuable option if the size and weight were halved. If you're a homeowner looking for a multi-purpose driver, get a M12 drill. If you're a professional, you likely already have drivers that can handle what this driver is designed to do. In short, I found this to be a redundant tool that gets very little use.

And as a counter, I have the full line of drills and I reach for this most often. It's got a great form factor and offers incredible control on speed to work IKEA projects or similar without busting them. Awesome tool.
Just a heads up, this is the non-FUEL brushed motor version of the driver. Not sure if it matters to you, but the brushless FUEL version (2402-20) has a LOT more torque and RPM, 2 speed control, addt'l clutch settings, and much better battery life due to it's brushless design, all in relatively the same body size / weight as the 2401-20 (the model feat. in this post). If you want something versatile for all projects, big or small, paying the extra $$$ for the FUEL model might be worth it in this case.

As someone who owns both this and the m12 drill, this is MUCH handier around the house with the quick release 1/4" chuck. I have owned it for years (decade?) and now that I see someone posted they have a FUEL version I might go look at that...not that I need it.

I thought upgrading to the Fuel version would be good to replace my driver when it died last week.
No, it's not the same. It's a 1/4# heavier, and when working overhead for an hour, that 1/4# adds up.
I'm in for this deal. I'll keep the Fuel for some things, where I need more torque and the impact is to loud or poweful, but for day to day use, nope.
