Depends on what happens with the world economy. Personally, I think the fools at the top have upset the applecart, just not felt the effects, yet. I expect that it will get more expensive as inflation rages later this year (PPI takes about 6 months to filter in to the CPI, check Springs' PPI to determine this Falls inflation . . . and April 2026 was 6% year over year, sigh.)

From what I've been reading, the M6 benefits will really only be affecting the Pro and Max Soc version, not so much the base M6. The base will just get the incremental updates we're used to.
Maybe to justify NOT waiting and getting one now, think of it this way... you're getting a MBP with M5 Pro with 48GB of unified memory now for basically the price of MBP with M5 with 32GB of unified memory.
