If an M4 chip with 32 GB isn't good enough and the M5 is that important you probably should be getting a MBP.

I got one of those prior Amazon blip deals last week for a Starlight M5, 15 Air, 24G, 1T for $1250.

It's not a bad deal, but I think I'd wait for a M5 deal to show up, the chip is a fair bit faster in AI tasks and graphics/gaming. I think for the M4 with the same specs I'd target $1100 as a pretty good deal.
