Man I miss the old Southwest. Even if you do find a decent price, the flight times are terrible or the layovers make their old 2hr direct flights now take 6-8 hrs. And the attitude of both the SW employees and customers is definitely not fun and happy like it used to be.

But I tried taking Delta lately for better flight times...and it's a compromise. On 4 out of my last 6 flights, either the Wifi didn't work, or the TV's didn't work. And it's nice to have the TV's on the back of the seats....but they pause whatever you're watching constantly for: the safety message, the Delta commercial, a message from the captain, an update on the flight, or that we're landing soon. So pick a show that's 30 minutes shorter than your flight!
And that's why I miss SW. Smilie

Truly meant my comment. Your predicament piqued my curiosity, as to what are some of the reasons you perhaps didn't consider moving flight by a day, to save money (why we SD in the first place). I'm sure you have good reason and don't even have to share. Was trying to get you to think about rebooking to save $$$, and not being crass.
