FYI, if your interested in this "micro" form factor, the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 or 3 ($45-$50) provides vastly superior overall value, higher volume ceilings, modern USB-C charging capabilities, and significantly better battery life.

Not a huge deal, but you get slower charging, weaker physical durability, and lack of reversibility with micro-USB.

I have two of these and, although this is the first gen and micro USB C, it's hard to resist at this price. It is rugged and waterproof and surprisingly powerful and balanced for its size. Note that newer Bose speakers cannot connect to their older speakers for stereo or party mode.
