Pros:
-Great one piece ceramic bowl, easy to clean outside due to the vertical side walls
-Pre-bowl flush "primes" the bowl before you do #2, so inner bowl is less stain prone when fully flushed
-The night lights / LEDs are very useful, never need to turn on bathroom light in middle of the night
-Well packed and protected for safe shipment
-Comes with all hoses, fittings
Cons:
-Lid is thin and lightweight, it is not designed for sitting on
-Dryers on Japanese Totos seem to do a better job
-Prone to clog easily with big drops
-Parts availability seem slim to none, don't drop the remote in water or break it. Without it, toilet functions can't be activated.
Tips:
Buy longer hoses so you can better tuck the included valve and/or water filter away (and inside the back of the toilet)
Buy a wax ring that is thicker/beefier from the big box store, the one that comes with it seems a bit flimsy
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the quality and the functionality.
I wish the lid and seat can be lifted with a single button press. You have to tap twice (and have to wait for lid to fully open before tapping the 2nd time).
Should it have any major malfunction, you may very well have to buy a new one, due to lack of parts availability at big box stores/plumbing stores. However, they are so much cheaper than the big brands that you'll still be ahead if you end up having to buy another one.

DeerValley's one piece smart bidet toilet stands out for a feature packed, easy to clean design with heated seat, warm bidet functions, night lights, and auto wash. The smooth vertical sides and pre bowl flush help keep the ceramic bowl cleaner, and the powerful flush with bubble shield has been credited with reducing clogs. Installation can be DIY friendly, but it needs a nearby electrical outlet and may require an electrician. Power outages are another limitation because flushing depends on electricity, though some versions include battery backup.
The deal can drop further when an email offer applies an extra $55 off at checkout.
The toilet can include a battery backup for a blackout flush scenario.
DIY installation is reported as straightforward, with features working as advertised after installation.
The integrated one-piece design includes vertical side walls that make the exterior easier to clean.
The toilet may not flush during a power outage unless the specific model includes battery backup.
The toilet requires a nearby electric outlet, which can force electrician work in older homes.
Replacement parts availability can be limited, and a broken unit may require replacing the whole toilet.
The 1.28 GPF flush amount can be a concern for urine flushing performance.

I'm just afraid they're hard to service.

Wow, first I am hearing of this. I just had the Toto Drake (from Costco) installed recently. No residue or algae stuff yet but it's not even been a month or two yet.
I've grown so partial to Toto that it sucks to hear anyone having a bad experience with theirs!
