As accurately mentioned by many DT/AT will do USTMA puncture repair FOC for ALL. That means whether tire purchased there or not. Between DT/AT and WM, for me not close call, DT. And I'm a WM+ member,.

Do some research on your local Walmart Auto center before making purchases there, especially before committing to a new set of tires. Our local store has absolutely terrible service. They don't answer the phone, won't make appointments, and always take hours longer than they promise. The lifetime balance and rotation isn't worth dealing with them.
Hopefully your local store is better.

Anyone buying a tire should check that road hazard is included in the price. Most tires places include it but it's best to verify for your our situation.
are you saying that the sneek in the road hazard or that they are not giving you road hazard?

I had a flat recently on a tire purchased through them. Called to get it fixed. The guy told me to come at 5pm on Monday. When I got there, someone else was at the auto counter and he wouldn't do it because the appointment wasn't put on their schedule and they were too busy for "walk-ins" that day. Got another appointment a couple of days later. It took them over 1.5hrs even though I was the first and only customer in the morning. On top of that, the guy inflated the tire to 39psi when the recommended pressure is 32.

Yes, it's free but not worth it, IMO.

Discount Tire does that for free and it doesn't require a membership
Discount Tire is amazing. I used DT for years to just fix tires bought elsewhere without ever buying anything from them, and then one day I finally did. And after all of those combined experiences I now won't go anywhere else but Discount Tire as long as they exist. They earned my loyalty. Hopefully some private equity group won't swoop in and ruin it like they've done to pretty much everything else.

Most tire places include damage caused from road hazard in the line item of a tire quote. It's just best to check if it's included in a tire quote because every place is different and you want to make sure that it's included.

Discount tire sucks! I tried getting my tire repaired 5x at different locations and they all said no after trying to up sell me on new tires even for the wrong season. Lol they just to be good for tire repairs
Most tire chains have a poster showing the "safe zone" for tire repair. That said most chains wont repair a flat outside of that zone. A mom and pop might repair it outside that zone, but retail chains won't for liability reasons.

would this cover Installalation? like mount and balance of tires that DO NOT need repair?

Bring in a two tires (unmounted) and two mounted wheels. have them unmount the old, mount and balance the new tires?

Just a warning. The one in Forest Park, Chicago, wasted over 2:15 of my time only to tell me they don't fix tires over 5 years old. Front clerk never told me this and anyone of them could have just walked to my car in the lot and read the code, and saved me 2 hours. I remembered why I don't go to Walmart for automotive after this moment. I told them this and received no reply and asked if they were listing to me, to two workers.
