This Total Wireless Galaxy S25 FE offer stands out for the chance to get a factory unlocked U1 model that works with physical SIM or eSIM on major US carriers right out of the box. The strongest appeal is the unlocked hardware, with reports of Metro, AT&T, and foreign SIMs working immediately. The main catch is the confusing pricing and unlock path, since the $195 three month plan, extra service, and 365 days of active service can push the real cost much higher. The UFC promo code also appears inconsistent at checkout, so the deal hinges on getting the U1 model and the expected promo to apply.

  • Travelers who want a factory-unlocked phone, because the U1 model works with physical SIMs or eSIMs from different carriers right out of the box.

  • Shoppers planning to use the phone on another carrier immediately, because the U1 version has been used with Metro, AT&T, and foreign SIMs without unlocking first.

  • Buyers who want a cheap test device, because the phone can stay on service for a year before unlocking and still be used as a carrier-locked handset meanwhile.

  • People who need a phone unlocked quickly, because Total Wireless requires 365 days of active service before approving unlock.

  • Shoppers who want a simple prepaid setup, because the pricing and unlock terms are confusing and can leave the total cost far above the advertised amount.

  • Buyers who need a flexible low-cost plan, because the $10 stay-connected option has no internet data and cannot purchase data.

  • People who want a straightforward return if the model is wrong, because the prepaid plan payment may not be refunded.

Whats the return policy on this in case I don't receive the U1 version? Reading it on Total's website, it seems like since were paying $195 up front for the 3 month plan, that wont be refunded. Since the phone is free, there's nothing to refund there. Somewhat confusing 😖
Ask them to check the imei for whatever reason on the sickw samsung imei checker. It should show you the model and lock status. Make sure is says U1.

If buying from a store, sure. But I'm not sure they would do that if ordering from the Total Wireless website.

Since the phone would have been free (yes, I'm aware the deal is dead now), there's nothing to refund there. The $195 is tied to the 3 month prepaid plan. Their Refund Policy on their Terms and Conditions (https://www.totalwireless.com/m/l...tions#tnc5) states "Total Wireless does not allow returns or provide refunds for any Activation Kits or Plans you may have purchased." So just confused as to whether we would lose the $195 if we decided to return the phone.
