Community Reviews
This Total Wireless Galaxy S25 FE offer stands out for the chance to get a factory unlocked U1 model that works with physical SIM or eSIM on major US carriers right out of the box. The strongest appeal is the unlocked hardware, with reports of Metro, AT&T, and foreign SIMs working immediately. The main catch is the confusing pricing and unlock path, since the $195 three month plan, extra service, and 365 days of active service can push the real cost much higher. The UFC promo code also appears inconsistent at checkout, so the deal hinges on getting the U1 model and the expected promo to apply.
Common Questions (4)
The U1 version is the factory-unlocked Samsung model and is reported to work with US carriers right out of the box via physical SIM or eSIM. Several purchases from this promotion were U1 units, but checking the IMEI/model before buying is recommended because the deal depends on receiving that version.
The phone is reported to require 365 days of active service before unlock, and the unlock request must be made after that period. Some comments also note the cheapest path may be a $10 talk/text-only plan, but it has no data and may require calling to get approved.
The UFC code can work, but it may only apply after completing account creation and verification. Other checkout attempts showed the code failing with an invalid promo error or leaving the phone at $199.99 plus the $195 plan instead of free.
Yes, porting can work, including from US Mobile by first moving the number to US Mobile's free trial and then to Total Wireless. If the carrier is not listed, the store may need to choose "other," and eligibility is checked during checkout.

If yes, do they verify (external) port eligibility before checkout or after we get delivery and while we activate it?
TIA ❤️
And any issues with porting out at the end of the 3-mo period?

I bought three S25 FEs from TW back in April (two in-store, one online) using a port-in offer. They were all U1s. I was able to use Metro SIMs right out of the box, and even a local SIM when I traveled to Mexico
