This Total Wireless Galaxy S25 FE offer stands out for the chance to get a factory unlocked U1 model that works with physical SIM or eSIM on major US carriers right out of the box. The strongest appeal is the unlocked hardware, with reports of Metro, AT&T, and foreign SIMs working immediately. The main catch is the confusing pricing and unlock path, since the $195 three month plan, extra service, and 365 days of active service can push the real cost much higher. The UFC promo code also appears inconsistent at checkout, so the deal hinges on getting the U1 model and the expected promo to apply.

  • The U1 model reportedly ships as a factory unlocked Samsung unit that can work with US carriers using physical SIM or eSIM right out of the box.

    cmc1002001Neon_ShellMagentaMeat621SpyrusNViware

  • Some buyers reportedly used Metro SIMs immediately after purchase, including use with a local SIM while traveling in Mexico.

    MagentaMeat621

  • The UFC promo code reportedly can work after completing verification and creating an account.

    EricS8328

  • Switching service after leaving the Total Wireless store reportedly went smoothly for at least one activation experience.

    SpyrusNViware

  • Unlocking reportedly requires 365 days of paid and active service, which can undermine the expected value of the $195 offer.

    dalegribble22The_Love_SpudLovelyFang271Frank_Nitty

  • The UFC promo code reportedly can fail with an invalid promo error even when it appears on the homepage.

    cmc1002001yeahwow

  • The deal wording reportedly confuses shoppers by mentioning a $195 per month 3-month plan structure that may mislead about the true cost.

    iSDeals

  • Checkout reportedly shows the phone priced around $199 plus the $195 plan and additional remainder service charges, pushing the total cost above $500 with taxes.

Any carrier with a deal for Galaxy S25 Edge? I understand it sold poorly but they just got rid of it altogether without doing any deals with their leftovers?

It is a very shady company. Their billing cycle is 30 days. So you will need total of 13 months to unlock. The $10 stay-in connect plan is so basic and you won't get any internet data. Stay away from them.
so basically $195 + $100/10 months cheap service (-3 month plan) brings it to $295 for 13 months of wireless service 10 of which will be a basic $10 plan and then it will be unlocked.

Seems like too much of a hassle and wait for such a phone that will be 2 generations/years old

Though inventory does remain available, note that Samsung likely cut their losses early for the S25 Edge model by significantly reducing production numbers: https://www.sammobile.com/news/sl...g_rewarded

Good luck!

On the checkout page I see $199 for the phone PLUS $195 for the plan - plus $100 for the remainder of service. That's over $500 with taxes. Code UFC doesn't work I get invalid promo even though it is on the homepage. What a joke.

might as well pay $580 at mint mobile for the newest/latest galaxy S26 + 1 year unlimited service included.

unlimited plan that includes hotspot for 1 year and automatically unlocks after the plan is up.

I had to go through the verification process and creating account before I could get the UFC code to work

Double check the model number. U1 version should be unlocked out of the box. I got the unlocked unit during the same promotion in April.

It is past due that the government finally steps in and the FCC force these carriers to sell unlocked phones or ban them from locking the phone for 365. Enough is enough.

Then none sells the cheap phones. The good time is when Metro unlocks in six months and TracFone unlocks in 60 days.

Not going to happen. Wireless carriers paid them off to screw the consumer and no one is going to pay them off to undo that policy.

You're cooked if you have to travel internationally. Locking for 365 days is very weird concept, it should be max 120 days 🫤
