Crazy enough, the 512GB version was showing as low as $799.99 at one point, before the coupon and before I put the phone in the cart. But it jumped to $999.99 once in the cart.
I bought the 512GB version recently after a month of trying. So yes, Samsung deals are notoriously YMMV.

If I had I used my work's employee discount program, this identical deal would have cost $1490 with all the available discounts.
Had I bought this identical deal at the Big Box (BB) electronics store, it would have cost $2113 with all the available discounts.
