Yeah, agreed. Most of my running shoes are ugly because I get whatever colors are on sale. I only use them for running though so... who cares? 🤷

bought the EVO SL's (my 2nd pair, 1st at ~200mi) but wished I'd held for these instead. Might return the SL's, as I appreciate the slightly more controlled rebound on these when I'm off-track/pavement

the Ultraboost 5x ones are pretty good looking. I have been complimented many times wearing them. The Adizero looks ugly imo but how comfortable are they. I only run the ultraboost 5x.

I've never used the ultraboost but from what I understand reading reviews and such, they are more for beginners/casual running.

From RunRepeat, "In our view, this consistency highlights the Ultraboost's beginner-friendly design, making it well-suited for slower, easier paces."

The adizero line is more geared toward training, racing, etc., but they're also great for easy miles too (depending on which model you choose).

The EVO SL and Boston 13 are both great all around shoes. I use them for easy runs, long runs, speed work, etc., and I've even used them for a couple races (though the pro series is the racer).

The lightstrike foam on the adizero line is a lot of fun.

That's a great price. I have about 100 miles on my Evo SL's and am definitely in the minority of absolutely hating them. The uppers have no support but breathe incredibly well and my feet don't sweat crazy with them. The cushioning is on the border of being adequate and too soft. I don't get the hype. The outsoles are slick when I run in the rain. They definitely feel better with some high arch insoles for me.
I've liked by asics cumulus and nike vormero 18 plus so much more. I'm a heavier runner though weighing 205. So maybe the lightstrike foam is too soft for me. Anyone compared these to the Evo SL's?

The Boston is much more firm than the Evo SL, and the upper is more supportive with a more form fitting toebox/forefoot. They're not narrow, but they're not super roomy like the Evo SL.

The Boston series also has adidas' carbon rods which add to the firmness/snappiness and structure of the foam. The Evo SL does not have any sort of carbon rods or otherwise.

I've put maybe 100 miles on both EVO SL and the Boston 13s and definitely prefer the Boston as they provide a bit more support IMO. I agree with the EVO SL uppers and it is a bit too soft for me as well. I like the the EVO SL more after putting a more rigid insole(Move insole) in it.
