Quote from DirtyMarcus :
That's a great price. I have about 100 miles on my Evo SL's and am definitely in the minority of absolutely hating them. The uppers have no support but breathe incredibly well and my feet don't sweat crazy with them. The cushioning is on the border of being adequate and too soft. I don't get the hype. The outsoles are slick when I run in the rain. They definitely feel better with some high arch insoles for me. I've liked by asics cumulus and nike vormero 18 plus so much more. I'm a heavier runner though weighing 205. So maybe the lightstrike foam is too soft for me. Anyone compared these to the Evo SL's?
Boston is a more traditional shoes with supportive ankle and thicker upper. The trend of racing upper and high stack foams...... are not good. We passed the era of carbon plate... and now that asics are popular.... everyone is trying to copy off of novablast and Superblast.. If you are heavy runner go for traditional shoes that fit your fit well. Brooks has good shoes with long wear and try period.

Ended up not buying it. I was checking out with Paypal and it kicked me out to the merchant with red flag "The seller made some changes to the item". I could not find any changes, but it prompted me that I probably don't need it today...
