Yeah, as a former food delivery driver and expo, I will never tip for the pleasure of ordering from an app in advance, using my own expensive gas to drive to and from the restaurant, and walking in the restaurant to pickup my food without being served any more than a host "serves" a customer. That isn't deserving of a tip, like what a waiter or driver does for customers, nor is it a tipped wage position, where they make a smaller hourly wage due to the expectation of tips.

When these apps ask you to tip for takeout, all it is is businesses wanting to socially subsidize more of their employees' wages in a way that redirects their employees' frustrations from themselves to customers, instead of paying a livable wage themselves.

Nice perk, although personally I'd generally rather pick up than add on a tip (even if the delivery is free). Of course, nowadays one often gets prompted to tip when picking up as well, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After much effort consolidating my Fandango and Fandango At Home accounts, I finally got the promo code applied to my account: "100% off Expires Jul 7, 2026". However, every movie I want to see doesn't seem to be eligible. Does the discount apply automatically at checkout, or am I missing another step? Does the rental have to be below certain dollar value for the 100% discount to work?
