Many stores have one each. They are likely display units that have been left on for thousands of hours as they clear out for the 2026 model (U7SF). Idk if it is still the case, but the 75" U7 and U8 TVs had a different panel to the 65" and 85" and supposedly is not as good.

Yes, most stores in my area only have displays left. IMO still worth it with geek squad warranty which is also heavily discounted at these prices. I would not buy a Hisense without extended warranty, display model or not. As far as the 75" display, RTINGS says it's a VA panel, just like the other sizes. For $525 ($655 with 5 year geek squad warranty) too tempting for me to pass up.

The 85" is also heavily discounted if you can find one and less likely to be a store display if that matters to you.

Saw this two days ago, instead I just placed a 75" U6 open box "good condition" for 312$ before tax, in this case I don't even want GS warranty. I'll be fine if it breaks after 3years. 2years manufacturer warranty plus extra one year with credit card. Couldn't justify to pay double for the u7 as I don't use TV as much as my monitor does. But still this U7 open box deal with geek squad warranty still good deal.

Costco has the 75" U6 for $599 new with 5 year warranty. I just can't bring myself to settle for Fire TV on the U6. YouTube TV experience is so much better integrated with Google TV.

great deal but 75" tv is too big for average cars... you'll need a suv or truck to pick it up

Yep, $19 Home Depot van rental, 90 minutes goes quick though!

Just wondering, how are you liking the 75" U6? It looks like the 75" U6 has an ADS Pro panel rather than VA. Better viewing angles but sacrifices some contrast. It's tempting as we're planning to use our 75 in the family room which is a bright and could use better viewing angles. On Reddit the feedback seems to be the ADS Pro isn't so bad and actually supervisor in some regards.

I can confirm the 75" u6 and u7 are VA panels as I was looking for IPS panels. The only 2025 model with a 75" IPS/ADS-Pro panel was the U8 model.

The 2025 75" U6 and U7 are VA panels. I saw them both in store and I was in the market for the ADS Pro panel specifically for viewing angle. The 2024 75" U6, U7, and U8 with an N at the end of their models numbers were all ADS Pro panels.

Thanks, no reason for me to go with the U6 then. From what I see the U6 has the same subwoofer but otherwise downgraded sound system, Fire TV instead of Google TV, half the peak brightness, and fewer local dimming zones. But if those don't matter to someone it's also a great open box alternative for $200 less:

My local one had one "Good" one. Went to check it out. It was the display model -- no box or anything. Not going to pay that much for a display tv. Those things run a lot. Even with the 5 year warranty, you are pushing over $700 for it.

I'm using my u6 it in a small dark room, contrast is fine to me. If you using it in a bright room, I'd say go with U7, lot better contrast and up to 3000 nit. I was gonna buy the U7 but I don't really need it and also using it in small dark room. so I go with u6 for 300$. I think U7 is a lot better. But I'm satisfied with the U6 cuz it's damn 300$

It was 500$ last month. My friend got it and I liked it, so I bought the open box for much cheaper. For 500$+ you can go with this U7 plus geek squad warranty and it's google os

Tempting for the patio to watch world cup games, the little I can see on rthings this is tagged as good for outdoors, can't see all the stats though. My frugal self just won't let me pull the trigger as the LG I placed outside thinking it would last a couple of years is still going strong 5 summers later.
