The Hisense 75" U6 for $500 or even for $597 @Costco is a pretty excellent deal. The bang for the buck is outstanding but the Fire TV OS is sort of universally hated, though there are plenty of options for not using the OS a tv comes with.
I think if absolute lowest cost/value is your top factor, then the U6 is easily the best current budget TV deal available and has been for the last week or so.
The U7 is absolutely a better TV in essentially every way, including it being a Google TV.
The U7 is significantly brighter and is apparently much better for gaming as well.
I actually still have not pulled the trigger yet, but I am leaning towards just getting the U6.
If the difference was $200, I would get the U7.

If Best Buy isn't mandatory, Amazon has been cheaper many times with 10% CB with Amazon card and just last week here for nearly $700 after CB
