I'd say the included batteries have a market value of $2-3 each. A $5-6 Reliance RS50 is much better for high drain capacity. A $2.50 Samsung 58E is also better capacity than these, but not as nice a cell as the Reliance.
No one should be paying that for the included batteries. There are far better batteries, for cheaper. There's nothing wrong with the included batteries, but they don't have the highest capacity, nor the best runtime at high drain.

Sofirn won't ship your $28 battery order for free either, so it was an apples to apples comparison at these low volumes. Both the Samsung and Reliance will be better cells - more usable capacity from both, and lower cell-heat-output in regard to the Reliance cells.
I have dozens of Sofirn 18650 and 21700 cells, but bought replacements with the great prices the others have had lately.
I suppose they could have faked the documents though..
