As ofJune 8th June 29th...
They didn't say.
Announced price Increases have been added to the table below. These price increases are in effect starting 7PM PT July 2nd.
But, we can look at their official price history and previous price increases to make some guesses. These prices are either from initial pre-orders or from the AYN's website [ayntec.com], not including later Aliexpress sales.
Based off the trends, if the unit you're looking to purchase has more RAM & Storage, then the price increase is going to be more dramatic. The AI Overlords spare no one their price increases.
If I want any of these, should I buy now before price increases or wait for a later sale?
The answer for at least Thor was to buy sometime around June 1st when Eragorn posted a thread for the sale on Aliexpress, with sale prices below retail even before coupon codes.
Now the prices on Aliexpress are back up, but there's still coupons. Your decision is going to come down to:
1.) Do you think there will be another sale on Aliexpress that will drop the prices more than they are now, even after one or more price increases? In a month? 2 months? 4 months?
2.) Given lead time for pre-orders can be one to two months, when do you want to have the device in your hands?
If you're going to buy now...
Here's tables with current coupons and after-coupon prices for each model, with a link to the product page above each table. These are sold at AYN's Official Aliexpress store; I'm getting ~$24 shipping and varying amounts of import/tax charges not included in the prices below. I imagine like usual the prices will shift slightly.
Edit: Codes are dead.
Edit2: New 4th of July sale for Aliexpress starts at 12:01AM PT July 1st with new coupons.

Hope that helps. At the very least if there is a sale in the future, we'll have a price record on what everything was going for on Aliexpress right now. Cheers.

As of
- Pre-Orders for Batch 6 of Thor & Batch 7 of Odin 3 handheld game/emulation consoles are now closed. Now they're taking Pre-Orders for Batch 7 of Thor & Batch 8 of Odin 3. These will begin to ship sometime in August (Aliexpress indicates August 17th).
Prices will be increasing "Later this month" for both Thor & Odin 3 handheld game/emulation consoles. The price increase will take effect once the current "inventory allocation is sold". This could mean the price increase will affect the later pre-orders of Batches 7/8, or it may take place starting with Batch 8/9 pre-orders. It depends on when they decide to cut off the current batch.- Prices are increasing starting on Friday, 7/3/2026 at 10AM BJT, which translates to Thursday, 7/2/2026 at 7PM PT. Thor Lite, Base, Pro, and Max 512GB are increasing $10. Thor Max 1TB are increasing $30. All Odin 2 Portal and Odin 3 models are increasing $10.

But, we can look at their official price history and previous price increases to make some guesses. These prices are either from initial pre-orders or from the AYN's website [ayntec.com], not including later Aliexpress sales.

@everyoneHey everyone! The 7th pre-order batch for Thor and 8th pre-order batch for Odin 3 are now live and available starting today! We also wanted to give everyone an early heads-up that we're planning a price increase for both Thor and Odin 3 later this month. The new pricing will take effect once the current inventory allocation is sold through, so if you've been thinking about picking one up, now would be a great time to place your order. A few quick notes: ✅ This new pre-order batch will continue to use UFS 3.1 storage. 📦 Orders from this batch are expected to begin shipping in August. As always, thank you all for the amazing support and enthusiasm. We can't wait to get these devices into your hands! ✨ AYN Team |

Not sure why it's like that, but the Odin 3 has a more powerful chipset.Odin 3 has the Dragonwing Q8 while Thor has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The spec sheets for both of those CPUs from the manufacturer are attached to this post.

TL;DR a modded oled switch is similar price and gives you basically an infinite library of games including a lot of retro stuff
The Thor Base (or above) has an S8G2 processor which is capable of running many PC games. However, the Odin 3 will have an advantage there.
Generally if people just want a 3DS emulator there are cheaper options.
