This has happened to me a few times over the past couple years, specifically on energy drinks, but usually Monster. I have the same thought every single time, since I can't reuse the coupon.
For me, these dont hit the same like normal energy drinks. They should be better but maybe its one of those things you have to drink it regularly. I have energy drink 3 times a week at most. only drink energy drinks for workouts.
