They always say "6-person" but if you see what they mean (6 adults can sleep side by side by side and fill the floor space). We have 2 adults and 2 young kids and this is just about the right size. 3 adults would be the max I'd be "comfortable" with and not feel like I'm in someone's way all the time.
I'm not sure I get this design at all. The screened area is against the sloped side of the fence so probably not even enough room to set up a chair without hitting your head.
The built in poles means heavily/bulkier and weaker tent with more places to rip/tear when folded

I bought this for 3 days camping trip. Super easy to setup. Good quality. Had zero issues. I would say 3 adults and 3 twin mattresses to be comfy at most. 2 adults and 2 kids, easy. I dont know enough about tents but im not an useless idiot whom is quite handy and have worked in fabrication. It gets the job done. Easy tear down. Make sure you invest in a portable fan for those hot days as it does get toasty inside.

I have the Coleman Sundown tent (4 person), and it's actually bigger than this. 7x9 instead of 7x8. Most I've ever fit in mine was 3 people, two on a queen and one on a cot and it was tight. Could probably have fit 4 if everyone had been on a sleeping pad, but can't imagine squeezing 6 people into something like this.

We've had a similar tent for four camping seasons now and we love it. The screened in area does get wet and gets some intrusion from the outside, but we usually throw a towel and a doormat right out front to put shoes and wipe down feet. Water protection wise, we've experienced some WILD weather in this thing and have taken to keeping a large tarp with us that we can put over the tent when things get bad, we're talking 1"+ downpours in under an hour. With that small addition, we've never had any water problems. Excellent price for this tent!

Only 3? You have to think more vertically, my friend. That tent is at least 4 feet tall. I bet you and your best friends could stack at least 2-3 high. Coleman marketing team is leaving tons of open space on the table.
I bought this one in 2021 for $145. So definitely great deal esp. with all the inflation since. Only used twice. 4 adults is probably the most I'd go with in there.
